Ingredients
1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
12 ounces Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon chili oil
0.25 cup sweet chili sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
0.5 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon kosher salt
0.5 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Trim Brussels sprouts and cut them in half vertically.
In a large bowl, toss the sprouts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Place sprouts in the air fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes.
While cooking, combine chicken in a bowl with chili oil, garlic powder, ginger, chili powder, and salt.
Add chicken to the basket with the sprouts and cook for an additional 8-10 minutes or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
Remove from the basket, toss everything with sweet chili sauce, and serve immediately.
Notes
Ensure chicken pieces are uniform in size to promote even cooking. Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket to maintain proper airflow for crisping. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
