Description

These no-bake protein energy balls blend sweet blueberries and creamy textures for a portable, nutrient-dense snack packed with fiber and muscle-building protein. Perfect for on-the-go fuel or post-workout recovery.


Ingredients

1½ cups rolled oats
½ cup vanilla protein powder (whey, casein, or plant-based)
¾ cup dried blueberries
½ cup almond butter or other nut/seed butter
⅓ cup honey or maple syrup (vegan option)
2 tbsp ground flaxseed
1 tsp vanilla extract
¼ tsp sea salt


Instructions

Pulse oats in food processor until slightly broken down
Pulse dried blueberries in processor until small
In small bowl, mix warm almond butter, honey/maple syrup, and vanilla until smooth
In large bowl, combine oats, protein powder, flaxseed, salt, and blueberries
Pour wet mixture into dry ingredients and stir until cohesive dough forms
Refrigerate dough for 30 minutes
Scoop and roll mixture into 24 equal balls
Return to refrigerator for 20–30 minutes before serving

Notes

Store in airtight container in refrigerator up to 5 days
For vegan version, use maple syrup instead of honey
Add optional mix-ins like white chocolate chips or coconut flakes during dough mixing
