Description

A make-ahead breakfast with 32g of protein per serving. Combines rolled oats, yogurt, milk, and spices for a creamy, heart-healthy, gut-friendly dish. Perfect for busy mornings or post-workout meals.

Ingredients

1 cup rolled oats
1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
½ cup yogurt (plain or vanilla)
2 tbsp maple syrup or honey
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp salt
1 egg (optional, for extra protein)
Optional toppings: bananas, berries, nuts, extra syrup

Instructions

Combine oats, milk, yogurt, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, salt, and egg (if using) in a bowl until fully blended.
Divide mixture into airtight containers or jars for even portioning.
Refrigerate overnight (or 4–5 hours) to allow oats to absorb liquid.
Before serving, stir well and add toppings like fresh fruit, nuts, or extra syrup.

Notes

For higher protein, include the egg. Use oat or almond milk for a vegan option. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Adjust sweetness to taste.
